Q. It is now almost a week beyond the reply by date and we are still missing a large number of RSVPs.  What can we do about non-responders?

A. I’m assuming that you are in a hurry to get all of the RSVPs in due to needing to let your caterer and/or reception venue know the final count.  You should feel free to give guests a call who haven’t replied and ask for their RSVP.  If they aren’t able to confirm yet, let them know why their timely RSVP is important to you, such as “It would be great to hear back from you today as we’re trying to get the final numbers to the caterer….”

However, if you are NOT in a hurry for some specific reason, then I would not make a big deal out of it.
