A There’s no rule of etiquette on when and how to give out favors to your guests. What you will want to do all depends on what kind of favor you have selected. Here are a few ideas to help you find the perfect time and place.

You can put them on the reception tables at each guest’s place setting.This is particularly nice if they make a nice accent to your theme.

You can have your favors double as escort cards. Place them neatly on a table at the entrance to the reception for guests to pick up on their way in. This works nicely with small picture frames and little boxes.

You can display your favors in a basket or on a table at the reception where guests will see them and take one on their own. This is great for items that can either make a fun display, such a personalized, colorful bottles of soda or items that can be placed in baskets.

If you’ve opted for a candy bar for your favors, simply place little containers for the guests to fill on the table with a cute little sign to let them know it is intended to be their favor.
